A wonderful stay just outside the heart of José Ignacio in the peaceful area of nature. We had an absolutely delightful stay at Posada Azul Marino and would happily return in a heartbeat. What immediately stood out were the spacious rooms — noticeably larger than typical hotel rooms, with lovely private balconies that made every morning and evening feel special and we slept so well. The swimming pool area is relaxing and nicely maintained, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds around it. We spent many lazy afternoons there. The bar/lounge area is a real highlight: always open, great drinks, and a perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail or a glass of Uruguayan wine. Breakfast deserves special mention — it was always available whenever we woke up (no rigid schedules), fresh, generous, and a lovely way to start the day on the terrace. One of the sweetest touches was the hotel’s very friendly chocolate Labrador who greeted us every morning with a present, enthusiastic wag and lots of love — he truly added warmth and joy to our stay! Location-wise, it’s ideal: just five minutes from the charming center of José Ignacio, with its excellent restaurants, bars, and the two incredible beaches (Playa Mansa and Playa Brava). Even better, two world-class restaurants are literally a one-minute walk from the hotel — perfect for dinner without needing to drive. Quiet, natural surroundings, attentive service, and that special laid-back José Ignacio vibe. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, space, and a peaceful yet well-connected base in this beautiful part of Uruguay. We loved it!

Excelente posada, ubicada en un lugar muy tranquilo y a dos minutos del centro de José Ignacio Excelentes servicios. La habitación es muy cómoda con una hermosa vista al bosque La atención es excelente, al igual que el desayuno Posada muy recomendable!!!!

Amei me hospedar aqui!! Lugar que dá paz, é lindo e super charmoso! O café da manhã incluso faz total diferença!! É afastado do centrinho, mas de carro não dá nem 5minutos.
